If you live in the KC area, the plan includes all the major gravel events leading up to the Dirty Kanza 200. It culminates with a quick taper and then a short week of training leading up to the DK200. The training included in the template is demanding. But, so is gravel racing and especially the Dirty Kanza.

Marks Tour du Canada

This journal chronicles a bicycle trip across Canada in the summer of 2015. I was one of a group of 13 people doing the Tour du Canada. Friday, 4 September 2015. Day Seventy One - St. Johns! The first 44 km was rolling hills through rural coastal areas. We stopped at 35 km for a 2nd breakfast at a Subway. Once we got onto the highway it was rolling hills but much bigger. Headwinds were a factor on the speed that we got on the downhill.
